Confirmation, Registration and Enrollment Information for Admitted Students

Congratulations! again to all successful applicants.

Please follow the information below carefully in order to confirm your admission to the Master of Science in Finance (MSF) program.

In case that you are accepted to more than one programs (for example MSF and MFE), you must submit the Program Selection Form (Request_FES01.pdf) to the only program that you choose. Those that select the MSF must submit the documents to the MSF program via email msfin@cbs.chula.ac.th within 31 May, 2023. Please name the email topic as “MSF: the program selection form”

  1. The confirmation bond of Baht 30,000 (not refundable in any case) must be paid before 4:00 pm on Tuesday, 6 June 2023 (Bangkok local time).

1.1 Visit the link http://payment.acc.chula.ac.th/Fee/Acceptance/22801. Fill in your information and print out the payment form to make the payment at Siam Commercial Bank (PLC) or via mobile application. (For Thai students, fill in your information with your citizen ID number. For foreign students, use your passport number. Ignore the alphabet and put in the number only).

An admitted applicant who wishes to pay from overseas (i.e. credit card), please email to msfin@cbs.chula.ac.th for international payment method by 2 June, 2023.

1.2 Fill this form: “Confirm place in MSF Program 2023 Form” and upload payment slip.

Note: Failure to make confirmation within the deadline will result in a rejection from the admission.

  1. The successful applicants must fill in information of Student Record from Graduate School Website on 25 – 31 May 2023 (https://www.grad.chula.ac.th/).  The manual can be download here.
  2. The admitted students must carefully and strictly follow the registration schedule >> The schedule for the first semester, academic year 2023.
  3. After the students obtain the student ID and CU NET account, you must fill in the online enrollment at https://adm.reg.chula.ac.th/login.

PRETERM COURSE

The pre-term courses: pre-term courses 5,000 baht per 1 course (not refundable in any case)

  • List of preterm course:1. Economics / 2.Business Finance  / 3.Financial Accounting / 4.Financial Mathematics / 5.Quantitative Method in Finance  These courses are designed to help fill up the required basic academic background of the new-coming students. The pre-term classes will be taught onsite at 1104 room or 1108 room, 11th floor, Mahitalatibesara Building. The username and password will be sent via a separate email. (Class schedule Preterm 2023)
  • First of all, please select the list of courses you would like to enroll in within 31 May 2023 at confirm place form. After that, the program will send you a link to pay for the chosen courses in advance.
  • It is mandatory for all admitted students to take an examination in two courses, namely “Quantitative Methods in Finance” and “Financial Accounting” in order to continue their studies in the program, irrespective of whether they have applied for the preterm course or not. Regarding the remaining three courses (Economics, Business Finance, Financial Mathematics), exams will be arranged specifically for those who have applied for the preterm course in each respective subject. / All preterm course exam is scheduled for Sunday, July 23, 2023, time 9 am – 12 pm.

The MSF Orientation will take place on July 8, 2023, at 4:30 pm in the Financial Lab, located on the 11th floor of Mahitalatibesara Building.
